Philadelphia, PA - September 14, 2016 - Mufson Howe Hunter, an investment banking firm established in 2004, announced today that Brandon Eck has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Technology Services industry coverage. Mr. Eck was previously a Managing Director at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, where he led Janney's investment banking efforts in the IT services, technology-enabled services and business process outsourcing ("BPO") sectors. Mr. Eck brings nearly 20 years of investment banking experience, over which he developed a diverse transactional background, completing more than 60 transactions, including sell- and buy-side mergers & acquisitions; private equity and debt capital raises; acquisition financings; fairness opinions; and public offerings.

"We are thrilled to have such a highly regarded investment banking professional join us and to build out our technology services practice," stated Michael J. Mufson, Managing Partner. "Brandon's extensive transaction experience, deep vertical expertise and reputation for integrity and unparalleled commitment to his clients will allow us to continue to deliver superior service and strategic advice to our clients," said Mufson. "We as a firm have developed a strong reputation in the business services vertical and the addition of Brandon both complements our existing coverage as well as extends our reach into technology-enabled services. Further, one of Brandon's focus areas includes healthcare IT, which resonates very well regionally among the number of local companies leveraging technology to serve healthcare providers and payors," Mufson added.

"I am very excited to be joining the talented team at Mufson Howe Hunter," said Eck. "MHH's entrepreneurial spirit and reputation for putting the client first is a natural fit for me and provides a platform to work with clients in ways not necessarily suited for more traditional broker-dealers," Eck added. "The firm's thoughtful approach and ability to consistently drive successful outcomes for its clients and their shareholders is a true differentiator in this business."
