Peter Hill is a managing director of Mufson Howe Hunter.  He directs the firm's activities with middle-market companies in the business services industry, with particular knowledge and transactional experience in facilities maintenance, market research, receivables management, teleservices, temporary staffing, and other outsourced business services.  Mr. Hill focuses on advising corporations and private equity groups on financial and strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity capital raising and business valuations.

Prior to joining Mufson Howe Hunter, Mr. Hill was a managing director at Stifel Nicolaus where he was group head of the firm’s Business Services practice. Prior to Stifel Nicolaus, Mr. Hill served in Legg Mason’s investment banking group before Legg Mason’s Capital Markets division was acquired by Stifel Nicolaus.  Prior to Legg Mason, Mr. Hill worked in New York and London for the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank, providing cross-border M&A services, and previously worked in the investment banking department at Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Hill earned a B.A., cum laude, from Middlebury College.  He also pursued post-graduate work towards an M.B.A. at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
