Mufson Howe Hunter & Company is pleased to announce that York Wallcoverings, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of residential and commercial wallcoverings and peel-and-stick removable wall decals, has completed a recapitalization with High Road Capital.

Founded in 1895, York Wallcoverings is the oldest wallcovering manufacturer in North America and one of the largest wallcovering companies worldwide with a portfolio of products that serve the full spectrum of the residential and commercial markets from low- to high-end designer wallcoverings. The Company’s portfolio of licensed brands include Candice Olson, Stacy Garcia, Disney, Waverly, Marvel Comics and LucasFilms.

Mufson Howe Hunter acted as the exclusive financial advisor to York Wallcoverings in its recapitalization with High Road Capital. Blank Rome LLP acted as legal counsel to the Seller. U.S. Bank and M&T Bank provided senior debt financing, while Babson Capital Management provided subordinated debt and an equity investment alongside High Road.
